The Timing of Volunteering:

Survivors: At CanCare, because of the emotional nature of our services, we believe that it's important for survivors to give themselves six months after the end of treatment before focusing on others through volunteering.

Survivors in long-term treatment: For survivors in ongoing treatment: please apply so that together we can find the best fit within CanCare for your experience.

Caregivers: We ask that you give yourselves six months after a loss or from the time your loved one completed treatment before volunteering.
